My special guests are Grace Pettis and Billy Crokett accompanied by cellist, Dirje Smith. Billy makes a return appearance at the series with new songs from his latest release, Wishing Sky and is also the producer of Grace Pettis' new album! Grace is the daughter of series alumnus, Pierce Pettis, but is making big waves in her own right as an honest, compelling writer winning the Wildflower Festival and Mountain Stage's New Song Contest. www.billycrockett.com , www.gracepettis.com

Back by popular demand... Mr. Jack Williams. Jack is a poignant writer and a true veteran of the road. Jack has been making music for over 50 years, but his energy remains greater than that of most 30-somethings. His playing is respected by all in the contemporary folk scene including Peter Yarrow who called him, "the best guitar player I've ever heard." His resume includes stints with Tom Paxton, Mickey Newbury and Harry Nilsson to name a few. www.jackwilliamsmusic.com
Featured Visual Artist will be Mary Kollmyer - www.sanangeloartclub.org

Special guest, Susan Gibson makes a return appearance at the series. Susan is best known for her song "Wide Open Spaces" which helped launch the Dixie Chicks into the stratosphere of the music industry, but this is just one of many endearing and honest songs in her catalog. I had the luck to play in her band as drummer in the early 2000's and count her a friend - www.susangibson.com

"The Sorry Sons Mother's Day Show" featuring a song swap with Beaver Nelson, Nathan Hamilton, and me. Beaver and Nathan are veterans of the club scene in the Austin area who have toured widely and received tons of great press. Beaver is one of my top 5 favorite artists and his angst and grit are the only cure for my mood on days of frustration. Nathan and his band were popular in the Texas scene when it was still fostering writing talent instead of focusing solely on the lowest common denominators and selling beer... oops did I say that out loud?

Special Guest from the great state of Maine, Ellen Tipper. Ellen was a fellow Newfolk Finalist with me at the 2010 Kerrville Folk Festival and was my personal favorite (I even liked her songs better than my own!) She writes with detailed imagery and supports it with complimentary, emotional piano composition that soars - www.ellentipper.com
