"The Sorry Sons Mother's Day Show" featuring a song swap with Beaver Nelson, Nathan Hamilton, and me. Beaver and Nathan are veterans of the club scene in the Austin area who have toured widely and received tons of great press. Beaver is one of my top 5 favorite artists and his angst and grit are the only cure for my mood on days of frustration. Nathan and his band were popular in the Texas scene when it was still fostering writing talent instead of focusing solely on the lowest common denominators and selling beer... oops did I say that out loud?
